Mandate Overview

The mandate

Greece runs the myDATA continuous transaction control system through the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (AADE). Real-time transmission of invoice data has been mandatory for all VAT-registered businesses since October 2021, and a phased structured B2B e-invoicing mandate is rolling out in 2026: large businesses (revenue over 1M EUR in 2023) from March 2, 2026, and all remaining taxpayers from October 1, 2026. B2G via Peppol has been mandatory for all public contracts over 2,500 EUR since September 1, 2025.
